PUBLIC HEALTH NURSE LPN

Location: Union County Health Department, 67 Chase Drive, Blairsville, GA 30512

Recruitment: This position is open to all qualified applicants.

Annual Salary: $24,968.28 (Experience Considered)   Pay Grade: 9

Responsibilities:  Under general supervision, provides professional nursing care.

• Administer childhood, adolescent, and adult immunizations based upon ACIP recommendations.
• Provide all support as it relates to the immunization program: audits, off site clinics.
• Support Public Health nursing staff in all programs including Child Health, Women's Health, TB, Infectious Diseases, and school health.
• Provide administrative duties, i.e. inventory, ordering supplies, stocking and maintaining clinical area.

Minimum Experience:    A Current Georgia license to practice as a licensed practical nurse.

Preferred Qualifications:    Previous Public Health experience, Administration of Immunizations, Medical Surgical experience.
