Location: Hall County Health Department, 1290 Athens Street, Gainesville, GA 30507

Recruitment: This position is open to all qualified applicants.

Annual Salary : $43,329.00   (Experience Considered)                 Pay Grade: 15

Responsibilities:  Under general supervision, 

  • Performs Child Health physical (well health check) newborn to 21 years of age.
  • ASQ's
  • Denver II's
  • Lead screenings and follow-up.
  • Home visits as necessary for Head Start newborns.
  • Immunizations
  • PPD's
  • Scoliosis screenings.
  • Responsible for Health Check report.
Other responsibilities as assigned.

Minimum Experience:    A current Georgia license to practice as a registered professional nurse AND one year of professional nursing experience.

Preferred Qualifications:    Preference will be given to applicants who, in addition to meeting the Minimum Qualifications, also possess the following: 2-5 years in Child Health experience, Bi-lingual, Public Health experience.
