Location: Hall County Health Department, 1290 Athens Street, Gainesville, GA 30507 

Recruitment: This position is open to all qualified applicants.

Annual Salary: $24,968.28(Experience Considered)         Pay Grade: 9

Responsibilities:  Under general supervision,

·        Obtain information on clients' past and present health history. 
·        Provide direct patient care, which includes administering medications, childhood and adult vaccines; explains side effects and assists with screenings and exams. 
·        Administers laboratory tests and collects samples. 
·        Counsels and refers patients as needed to appropriate areas/clinics. 
·        Performs Hearing/Vision/Dental (HVD) screening in clinic and in school system as requested.

Minimum Experience:    A Current Georgia license to practice as a licensed practical nurse. 

Preferred Qualifications:    Preference will be given to applicants who exhibit experience in the following:

Immunizations and Public Health
General Laboratory functions.
Although not required, bilingual is a plus for this position.
