Location: Forsyth County Health Department, 428 Canton Hwy, Cumming GA 30040

Recruitment: This position is open to District 2 employees who are eligible for promotion, demotion, or transfer.

Annual Salary:  $18,549.36   Pay Grade: 8

Duties:  Under general supervision, Interpret in all clinics, translate written information from English to Spanish, enter data into the computer, fax or copy any necessary information, answer phone calls and distribute to appropriate staff and complete miscellaneous paperwork, letters and filing.

Minimum Experience:  Proficiency in the foreign language (Spanish) specific to the position of assignment. Applicants must be able to interpret and translate health care information orally and in writing from English into the Spanish language and from the Spanish language into English. Position qualification: vacancy requires proficiency in the Spanish language specific to the position of assignment. 

 Preferred Qualifications:      Fluent in English and  Spanish able to read and write and speak English and Spanish.  High School Diploma or GED equivalent a must, One year working Interpreter in a business setting.
